I would like to know how hard is for US Citizen to find a job in Austria, let say Viena and receive work permit.I already know German and lived in Germany for about 10 years. Also i am in IT field and would like to know how hard is to find job if you are IT guy. Thank you

It is VERY HARD and usually is not possible for a non-E.U. citizen to get a job in Austria. The only way for you to get a job over there is if you are already working for an international company in the U.S. that has offices in Austria, and you get transfered over there. Your best bet, being that you speak German and used to live in Germany for about 10 years, is to see if you can get into the civilian IT dept at a U.S. military base in Germany, and just visit Austria on your days off.
